Blank Verse

Macbeth is mainly written in blank verse. Blank verse is composed of unrhymed lines of iambic pentameter. It has five feet, or beats, per line, and every other syllable is stressed.
    Your face my thane is as a book where men
    May read strange manners. To beguile the time.
