Macbeth is known for his bravery in battle.
Macbeth: "I have done the deed. Didst thou not hear
a noise?" Act 2, scene ii
He changes from the brave, kind man to a murderer.
Macbeth: "If we should fail?" Act 1, scene
He is afraid they will fail because
of his kind heart.
Macbeth: "To know my deed,'twere best
no know myself.[Knock] Wake Duncan
with thy knocking! I would thou
couldst! Act 2, scene iii
He feels guilty about Duncan's death and
wishes he was alive again.
